The time we have
Mikkel V. Egerland has spent most of his life on a board. First as a skater, later as a professional snowboarder, where his passion for the mountains, competitions, and freedom quickly took over. For him, snowboarding isn't just about tricks or results. It's about the feeling of standing on top of a mountain, looking out over the beautiful nature, and being fully present in the moment.
Today, Mikkel is also a father, and precisely for that reason, time means even more. Time with his children. Time on the board. Time for what makes life feel real. His message is simple: Use your time while you have it. Jump into it. You'll never regret what you truly wanted to try.
More than snowboarding
Mikkel hasn't just been a part of Danish snowboarding; he's also helped build the community around it. Riders.dk, for example, has written about him as the man behind the M.V. OPEN in Hemsedal, and as the founder of Slushicemag, a Danish snowboard magazine. They have also mentioned his snowboard film The Art Of Love, where he once again used his passion to inspire others to get into the sport.
