Our Concept
Northern Legacy is a Danish jewelery company which, since 2015, has challenged social stereotypes about men and jewellery. In the past, jewelry had a more conservative function of signaling status, but today it is the next level of expression for men. We want to give you the opportunity to add more character to your look with classic or modern jewelry in the most popular styles and materials.
Our collection consists of a wide selection of distinctive gemstones from different continents, making each piece unique.
The reinvention of an icon
We cannot take credit for the timeless and iconic design of the signet ring. Historically, signet rings were an expression of status and a symbol of family heritage among kings, queens, nobles and other important people. The signet ring was then used as a seal that would contain a family crest, emblem or monogram to sign legal or other important documents. This was done by dipping the ring in hot wax, which left a distinctive seal.
Northern Legacy Signature rings are our heartfelt attempt to change attitudes towards jewellery. This is why our ring collection consists of engraved monograms and natural gemstones. In this way, we connect Scandinavian prehistoric culture and modern times through a simple and classic design. That is why several of our signature rings, necklaces and bracelets bear our Viking symbols.
